To prepare for the opening, they went to coffee houses far and near, to see what was good or what amount of caramel was needed. “The community for years now – and us included – we’re like, oh, you have to go so far to get a good coffee,” said Katie Klein, mother of the twins/coffee house employee. “It took a lot longer than we thought,” said Abby, adding that supply issues were a huge obstacle.ĭespite the long wait, the public excitedly (and impatiently) waited for the opening of the coffee house, drooling over sneak peak social media posts of specialty drinks and pastries. From then on, they, with help from family, did extensive renovations before they were able to open this spring.
